About

I’ve always been a public reader and a private writer. A few years back a fellow human took the liberty to place me on the internet.  Lines that I had written for few eyes to see, ended up in this blog, wrapped in a “Happy Birthday” wish.

Beneath my gently outraged reaction (after all it was a birthday gift), I couldn’t deny a sense of adventure and excitement at the prospects of being “out there”.

Although I have what looks like a writer’s, poet’s or even photographer’s blog, I don’t consider myself either of them. My gift is not writing but being able to see the miracles that present themselves on a daily basis, most of them easily passed by, like rocks on the ground. I like to recognize the gem in each and every one of them. I guess writing (and taking photos) is my way of honoring, and appreciating those moments, even if my writing crumbles to dust compared to their beauty.

If you have found your way onto this site, I have either told you or one of your friends about it or you have been ‘misdirected’ here.  Either way, my wish is that you stumbling in here will result in finding something that will remind you of those miracles and how beautiful and perfect YOU are.

Because you are.

We all are.

Interesting how computers can link you with souls.

Thank you very much Adagio, it is beautiful. Actually, do you mind if I place it as a post on the blog, in your name of course? It’s holds a theme that is aligned with my belief system and would fit perfectly into spasmicallyperfect. Let me know. Happy holidays to you and your loved ones and thank you for this gift. SP

Lots of thanks and smiles. =)

Thank You, for leaving me these lines. Life is all about perspective and the cool thing is: we and nobody else get to choose which one works for us. See you around…

    Dear Rev,
may you always be inspired to reach that next level. Thank you for leaving your mark here on SP. I am sure you’ll find that right place soon enough and remember, there’s always plenty of opportunity to deliver ‘creative service’ along the way. Would be nice to hear back how your journey is going some time…… be well. SP

Peace to you as well and welcome. Thank you for taking the time to let me know your thoughts. Seems I there is lots that I can learn from your space as well and I will be by. Until then, be well, Spaz

  6. Are you feeling better because I’ve written something for you. I don’t want to post it until I know you’ll be on though. kim

I’m better (if not fully restored ). At the moment I am busy, but I generally check you out as part of my blogroll list, so I’ll be over for sure. Also, sorry about the round robin thing, I am working 12 hour days at work presently plus with feeling ill, I just haven’t had the time to even read the whole thing. I hate to be a party pooper but even I have my limits .

  7. Hey…I hope you don’t mind, I tagged you on my site. Check out the post “Tag you’re it”. I like your site and it is a way to learn more…so I hope to be “seeing” you soon

Enreal, I’m a little behind, I am sorry, I will get to it over the weekend though. Sorry about the wait, taggers generally have to patient with me 😉 . And no, I don’t mind……

  8. I am a nuclear physicist. Strangely I like poetry. Obviously I love your site and admire your creativity.

Multi-talented people, I like that 🙂 . Thanks for your kind words. SP

  9. From just a quick glance and a few items I read, I can tell you I will enjoy reading your excerpts. I am looking forward to sharing journeys with you.

Sharing a journey….. hm, seems you’ve already figured out what I enjoy…… just make sure you buckle up for the ride 😉

  10. Your writing, from what i’ve seen, is a pleasant difference from what i’ve read elsewhere- gentle and positive.

Thank you and welcome to my spot. I’ve seen you over at WC’s…. thank s for coming by this way. And you are right, there are a lot of blogs that mostly deal with problems and more problems. I didn’t think the world needed one more of those.

  11. very well said. may i please use a piece of this in my own “about me” page?

“My gift is not writing but being able to see the miracles that present themselves on a daily basis, most of them easily passed by, like rocks on the ground. its beautiful and i would love to quote you, if you dont mind.

    peace and grace,
    s

Welcome. I don’t mind you quoting me, if I can ask for a link back to this sight. Thank you for your kind words. And I’d like to know which website I’m quoted on 🙂 .

  12. Hello!

I want to let you know that I’ve place your link within my web site on my Links page!

If you would like it removed, please let me know.

But it is my hope that you will also take a link from me and place it on your web site!

If I’ve done anything wrong….please let me know.

Dear Deborah. I remember you linking to me before you changed the layout of your website (great work on the new one). I’m am honoured that you’d add me to your list and no, I don’t mind.

Now regarding me linking back, I am sorry to be disappointing but I am not one of those people who reciprocate automatically. The blogs I link to are ones that I visit very often and are there for me to facilitate me visiting them, not for traffic’s sake. I don’t blog for volume and I know I can’t visit everybody and so I try and keep my list manageable.

Knowing that people have taken me off their blog links because I haven’t reciprocated and being aware that some think I’m being rude, I understand if you decide not to have me on your website anymore. Thankfully there are many people out there who disagree with me no this subject and will be happy to link to your site. By the way, I’m jealous of your glass work, always wanted to try that out.

With all my respect, take care

    Spazmicallyperfect

  13. My first time reading your posts and I wonder, I wonder how wonderful the world actually is – with the presence of beautiful souls such as yourself who inspires, reassures.

…suddenly the world does seem to be small after all.

I’d like to thank you all who has shown me wisdom.

Welcome Glaize! Thanks for stepping by my humble site and thank you for your kind words. I am glad you here found a place that brings us together. That’s more than I can ask for. I’ll be by soon. Be well, Spaz

  14. Hello Spaz, I’m glad I’ve found your blog, via your last post (and it’s tags). Since I liked that, I’ve read your last fifteen posts, and must say you have a very original point of view which I’m fond to it.

Sorry ’bout my English, it’s getting rusty with the years.

PS: I adore your husband, seems to be the comprehensive and logical kind of guy. Cherish him, ’cause that kind of man it’s not easy to find 🙂

    See ya!

Welcome A. I am glad you stopped by and enjoyed the read. Your English, is better than my Spanish and plenty good enough. And yes, I am very lucky to have such a logical and loving guy.

  15. Hi, Is this really your website? Josie gave me the address and I have looked through it but could not find any mention of your name, so not really sure if this is you or not. Put me out of my misery.

Well, maybe I like to make people suffer a bit? Just kidding, I’ll be glad you confirm that yes, this is me, and I’m delighted to see you making a surprise visit like this. I followed up with an e-mail and am expecting the rest of the family to be over soon! 😉 . Since I am family, you have no choice other than to promote me! 😉 Whether you like my writings or not. 🙂

  16. I have read some of your writings…wow there is a lot, so will take me some time! I await your email so I can mail you directly. x

    Did you get it?

  17. No, did you send it?

Yes I did. Beginning of July. Just went back and resent it. Hopefully you get it this time…… Cheers S.

  18. Hi. Sorry to trouble you. I noticed on another blog that you said that you have a coffee table book of the works of Caspar David Friedrich. Would you be willing to pass on details – title, editor/author, publisher? I want to get this as a gift for someone who will be blow away.
    Thanks
    Gary
